The short animated film - “About Dam & Hofit”
The film has received a generous support from “The Canada Council of The Arts”.
“ABOUT DAM & HOFIT” will be a 20 minutes 2D computer collage animation and a 3D stop-motion animation. It is the story of the forbidden friendship between, Hofit, an Israeli intelligence air force plane and Dam, the tip of mount Damavand in Iran. It is made in collaboration with the artist - Leila Zelli

La Terrasse is a platform that unites designers and writers around one theme. A quote is selected to inspire and provoke designers, who express their interpretation of the chosen subject through products and text. At the same time, poets, critical thinkers, and design theorists offer their own reflections through writing. These two modes come together into a joint framework through exhibitions, which build new forms of cooperation between diverse contributors. I contributed a text for this year exhibition.

A former prison is now an asylum for newcomers. The prison did not change only the inhabitants are different, this includes the surveillance system of the prison which still exists. A new video/stop-motion animation Installation which turns the presented images in a control room setting to a tool for communication rather as an observation.

Fictional Journal issue no.2- Propaganda
In continuation to the project- "A journey through the land of panicutopia" I contributed an article and moving images, composed with Meggie Rotberger, to issue no.2 of the Fictional journal.
Reality and fiction intertwine in a set of articles about Israeli-Palestine desert community and an Israeli defense system. The articles and collages bring along questions of physical and psychological elements of security.

#TVclerici Salone del mobile, Milan, Italy.
Design Academy Eindhoven students and alumni will present a mashed-up media and design studio at the 2017 Salone del Mobile at Palazzo Clerici in Milan’s city center. The programme analyzes the role and symbiotic relationship design plays in contemporary media.
I will design the news channel with Deborah janssens and françois bonnot. Together we created a dystopic and absurd scenario to the daily news we consume. It will combine performance and live streaming while using scaled models as tools and hands as players.
In 2007 Studio Makkink & Bey, together with, among others, Atelier NL, Maarten Kolk, stichting Herbergen, activated the project ‘designers & artists in residence Noordoostpolder’. Now, 10 years later, the landscape and development of the Noordoostpolder is again the focus point in the ‘House of Arts’ exhibition. I was commissioned by the Studio to create a scaled model and animation to the future polder system.
